With over 20 years of experience in the performing industry, Sarah is a seasoned professional singer, songwriter, and vocal coach. Since gaining a BA Hons in Performing Arts (Music) from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, founded by Sir Paul McCartney, Sarah’s singing career has taken her across the world. Encompassing many areas of the industry, including pop, soul, jazz, blues and musical theatre, Sarah has performed as a lead singer in many different shows and bands in theatres, for corporate events and international festivals. Sarah has also been a signed recording artist with Candid Records and was featured on a Virgin Records release with one of her own arrangements. Her most recent release ‘Your Own Way’ was released on Red Island Records after her collaboration with Mauritius based DJ and producer David Jay. As a vocal coach Sarah specialises in popular techniques and is a certified ‘Estill Master Trainer’ and a ‘Vocal Health First Aider’. Sarah is passionate about holistic vocal coaching and the wellbeing of performers. Her current posts include Vocal Lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire and The University Of Hull where she teaches both Undergraduates and Masters Students in singing and performance techniques. Sarah has also taught across many other well know institutions such as Mountview Academy of Arts and SLP College. She also runs her own vocal education business offering digital and in person vocal courses across the world.
